We are a team with over 20 years of experience, uniting science, innovation, and practice. Our researchers and engineers study bioenergy, phytoremediation, and precision farming — adapting global trends to Ukrainian realities.

Who we are and how we work

The Institute has a public status, which is reflected in its collaboration with government bodies, local authorities, enterprises, institutions, and organizations of various ownership forms, as well as in establishing partnerships with other NGOs, movements, and foundations registered in Ukraine or abroad, and with citizens of Ukraine, foreigners, and/or stateless persons.

The main goal is to fully satisfy and protect the social, economic, creative, and other public interests of the Institute’s members and/or other individuals, based on the principles of sustainable economic development of Ukraine. This is achieved by promoting the creation and implementation of innovative projects and development programs in the fields of:
– technical policy
– energy, ecological, and resource conservation
– bioenergy
– rehabilitation of degraded soils
– information technologies
– systems and approaches to scientific, educational, and economic activities in support of Ukraine’s agro-industrial goals.

The Academic Council develops the general development strategy, research directions, and defines priorities for cooperation with national and international organizations and scientific institutions.

Areas of Activity

The main areas of activity of the Institute are:

  • • Collecting, analyzing, synthesizing, and disseminating information about programs, trends, and challenges in the development of agro-industrial engineering in Ukraine and other countries;
    • Participating in educational activities for Institute members and others, integrating scientific research into the learning process to improve the quality of training for professionals and academic staff in the field of agro-industrial engineering;
    • Conducting scientific research and studies on issues related to programs, trends, challenges, and prospects in agro-industrial engineering — as independent projects or as parts of broader programs;
    • Studying and analyzing the current state and development trends of Ukraine’s agro-industrial sector, and developing recommendations based on this for authorities, political parties, civil society organizations, businesses, international institutions, and others;
    • Engaging Ukrainian and foreign citizens in the development and implementation of the Institute’s programs;
    • Organizing and conducting educational activities (lectures, seminars, consultations, etc.) for Ukrainian citizens, Institute members, and members of other public associations. These are aimed at analyzing and developing current economic and political issues, including those related to agro-industrial development and its engineering and technical support systems, with both theoretical and applied solutions;
    • Establishing continuous partnerships, exchanging experiences, and developing various forms of cooperation with other national and international civil society associations, including professional organizations, businesses, and political parties in the agro-industrial and agroengineering sectors;
    • Participating in decision-making processes of governmental and local self-government bodies;
    • Studying and promoting the experience of public authorities, NGOs, and businesses in solving the challenges of engineering and technical support in the agro-industrial complex;
    • Fully supporting the protection of constitutional rights and interests of its members;
    • Publishing national and international print media on relevant economic, political, and professional topics; covering the Institute’s activities and achievements in the media;
    • Organizing exhibitions, seminars, scientific-practical conferences, trainings, round tables, concerts, and other public events; engaging universities, government institutions, and NGOs in collaboration.
